鹿谷故事館

晃平是日本醫學院的學生，醉心於茶的他，被鹿谷的凍頂烏龍茶吸引過來，因其本身在日本有參加茶道社團，所以對茶葉有一定的認識，舉凡台灣的凍頂烏龍茶、凍頂貴妃、紅烏龍、烏龍紅茶等，對此些常令人搞混的茶葉種類皆如數家珍般。我們溝通的語言是用英文，雖大學雖曾選修日文一年，但大多還給老師了，幸好晃平的英文不錯!

 Huang Ping is a medical school student from Japan. He was attracted to Dong Ding Oolong tea of Lugu because he was addicted to tea. He has learnt lots of knowledge about tea because he has joined the club of tea ceremony. Many different kinds of tea which make people confused, such as Dong Ding Oolong Tea, Gui Fei Oolong Tea, Black Oolong Tea and Oolong Black Tea, are all familiar to Huang Ping. We communicated with each other in English. Although I had studied Japanese in university, I almost forgot it now. Luckily, Huang Ping spoke English well. 

    他來的這兩天在鹿谷自行跑了不少家茶行，也陪同他到朋友的店，主因是他個人想找道地的凍頂烏龍茶，且之前有一日本人也曾在跟朋友習茶之故，因此覺他的店應該可符合他的需求，在試茶席間，我充當翻譯，見其對每一道茶認真的提問，經詢問店主，將每泡茶的茶葉攤開檢視，且逐一做筆記，這嚴謹的賞茶動作，令人印象深刻!

He went to many tea shops by himself in Lugu during two days. I also took him to visit my friend’s tea shop because he wanted to find the authentic Dong Ding Oolong Tea. By the way, I chose this shop because there was a Japanese learned tea here, I thought this shop may meet Huang Ping’s need. During the process of tasted tea, I served as an interpreter. Seeing he asked shopper questions seriously and spread out the tea leaves on the table to observe it carefully, I felt very impressive on this. 

    此行他還有另一項任務，幫教授捕捉台灣的蝴蝶，並帶回日本做研究。因此也推薦了幾個賞茶亦可捕蝶的地點，看著桌上一袋袋昆蟲收集袋，驚訝於台灣昆蟲物種之浩繁，光是鹿谷當地的蝴蝶種類就這麼多了!

Besides, he had another mission in this trip － catch butterflies in Taiwan for his professor to do the research. As a result, I recommended some places which can do butterfly-watching and tea farm-watching. I was surprised Taiwan‘s various kinds of insects while seeing lots of insect collecting bags on the table. It is amazing that there are such many kinds of butterfly in Lugu.

    晃平在鹿谷期間有跟母親還有住宿的房客一起用餐，有覺察到他很積極的協助母親清洗碗盤及飯後餐桌的收拾工作，且對於垃圾的分類非常徹底，雖台灣也推行幾年的時間，但還是發現有不少旅客對分類比較輕忽。

 Huang Ping enjoyed the meal with Mom and the tenant in our hostel. After meal, he always helped Mom clean the table and wash the dishes actively. Also, he did the garbage classification thoroughly. I found some tourists still ignored garbage classification though Taiwan has carried out this policy for many years.
